We prioritise the needs of international students and build a community of motivated individuals who work together to create meaningful impact. By upskilling our volunteers and providing support that is not available elsewhere, AusWISE is creating a unique and impactful experience for international students in Melbourne.

Joining AusWISE gives me the opportunity to give back what I have learned and gained back to international students in helping them in their immigration journey into Australia!

APPLICATION PROCESS

#1. Submit your application

We will ask some questions about yourself, like your name, background as well as your goals and aspiration.

Tips: Don’t put one-word answer, that doesn’t create a strong first impression about you :)

#2. Attend an interview

If we think you could be a good fit for our team, we'll invite you to come in for an interview.

This is your chance to tell us more about your skills and experience, and to learn more about what we do and what you could bring to the table.

It's also an opportunity for us to get to know you better and make sure we find the right role for you.

#3. Attend orientation & training

This is where you'll learn more about our organisation, our policies and procedures, and the specific projects that we need help with.

We will also pair you with a buddy to provide support and make sure you feel confident and prepared.

After completing these steps, you'll be ready to start volunteering with us and making a positive impact on the international student community in Melbourne!
